Western Digital has recently introduced new additions to its product lineup in India, including the world’s highest storage portable HDD in the 2.5-inch form factor. These new 2.5-inch 6TB portable hard disk drives (HDDs) from WD, WD_BLACK, and SanDisk offer high storage capacity and innovative features.
The new SanDisk G-Drive Armor ATD drive boasts IP54 dust and splash resistance, making it suitable for various environments. It also offers crush resistance up to 1000lbs, ensuring data protection in case of accidents.
On the other hand, the 6TB WD My Passport HDD models come with USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 ports, as well as USB-C support. They feature 256-bit AES encryption for security and offer fast transfer speeds of 5Gb/s.
Both Western Digital and SanDisk 6TB HDDs come with a 3-year limited warranty and are compatible with Windows 10, macOS11, and older systems.

The 6TB WD My Passport is priced at ₹15,499, while the USB-C variant is priced at ₹15,999. The SanDisk Elements 6TB model is also priced at ₹15,999. These drives are available for purchase through various channels.
The 6TB SanDisk G-Drive Armor ATD is priced at ₹20,999 and will be available for purchase later this month.
