Arvind Kejriwal’s Wife to Launch AAP Campaign in Haryana
Get ready, Haryana! Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is all set to kickstart the poll campaign for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in your state ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. The campaign, titled “Kejriwal’s guarantees,” will be launched on Saturday, July 20, during a townhall event in Panchkula.
Sunita Kejriwal will be joined by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, AAP national general secretary (organisation) Sandeep Pathak, and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh for the announcement of “Kejriwal Ki Guarantee.” The party is making it clear that they don’t believe in making empty promises like the BJP and Congress, but rather provide concrete guarantees.
“Haryana should get water. Every state should get water. The distribution of water is the responsibility of the Central government and the prime minister,” emphasized AAP’s state unit president Sushil Gupta.
In a bold move, AAP has declared that they will not form an alliance with opposition parties for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. The party believes that the people of the state are looking towards them with high hopes and are committed to contesting all 90 seats in the state.
The AAP leader also highlighted the deteriorating law and order situation in Haryana, calling it a “Jungle raj” where crime has become rampant. He criticized the government for failing to control criminals while suppressing farmers protesting for their rights.
It’s important to note that Arvind Kejriwal is currently in judicial custody due to a money laundering case linked to the excise policy. Despite this, Sunita Kejriwal continues to actively support and campaign for the party in various states, including Delhi, Haryana, and Gujarat, during the latest Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
