About Civis
At Civis Innovation Foundation, we believe in fostering meaningful discussions between Governments and citizens regarding laws and policies. Our online platform, Civis, facilitates public consultations, allowing citizens to provide valuable input on upcoming legislation to the Government.
Since our inception in 2018, Civis has spearheaded over 300 Consultations, reaching more than 16,600 individuals. We are proud recipients of prestigious accolades such as the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia award, Agami Prize for Legal Innovation, D-Prize, and two state government awards at the Maharashtra StartUp Summit and Vibrant Gujarat StartUp Summit.
About the Opportunity
Civis is seeking interns for its Policy Leaders programme, which spans three months from July to September (with the possibility of extension). This remote, full-time internship is ideal for students and recent graduates looking to make a difference.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct research on upcoming public consultations related to draft laws and policies.
- Summarize open consultations for easy understanding.
- Compose articles and perform policy analysis on draft laws and policies for publication on Civis’ blog and other platforms.
Eligibility Criteria
We welcome applications from students pursuing law and public policy, preferably in their 3rd year or above.
