The historic rivalry between the two teams is sure to make this match a must-watch event. The ICC recently revealed the revamped fixtures for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, with games set to take place in Dubai and Sharjah.
The groups remain unchanged, with powerhouses like Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka in Group A, promising intense competition. Group B also features strong contenders like South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland.
It’s worth noting that Sri Lanka and Scotland earned their spots through the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier held earlier this year in Abu Dhabi. With each team set to play four group matches, the top two from each group will advance to the semi-finals on October 17 and 18.
The final showdown is scheduled for October 20 in Dubai, with reserve days in place for the knockout stage. Should India progress, they will feature in semi-final 1. Fans can look forward to a total of 23 matches across two venues, with 10 warm-up games from September 28 to October 1.
Mark your calendars for this thrilling event and stay tuned for more updates as the competition unfolds! Let’s cheer on our favorite teams and witness some incredible cricket action at the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.
