Exciting news from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as party chief Mehbooba Mufti unveiled the party’s manifesto for the upcoming Jammu & Kashmir polls. In a bold move, Mufti declared that the PDP is prepared to throw its full support behind the Congress-NC alliance, as long as they accept the PDP agenda.
The PDP manifesto outlines key points, including the restoration of Article 370 and diplomatic efforts between India and Pakistan. It’s a strong stance that emphasizes the party’s commitment to addressing the Kashmir issue head-on.
Breaking Down the Manifesto:
According to the manifesto, the PDP is unwavering in its quest to restore the constitutional rights that were unjustly revoked. They are dedicated to reverting Jammu & Kashmir to its original status, ensuring that the voices of its people are heard and their rights protected.
The manifesto also condemns the unconstitutional revocation of Articles 370 and 35A in 2019, which has only deepened the divide in Kashmir. The PDP is firm in its resolve to restore the lost guarantees and bring back stability to the region.
