1. Appointment of Sole Arbitrator by Delhi High Court
On June 2, 2024, the Delhi High Court asserted its authority to appoint a single arbitrator, overriding an arbitration agreement that specified a panel of three arbitrators. The petition under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 was upheld, as the parties had failed to appoint the agreed panel.
2. Hyderabad No Longer Joint Capital
