The Rise of the “Ketamine Queen”: The Notorious Jasveen Sangha
Recently, Jasveen Sangha has found herself thrust into the public spotlight due to her connection to the tragic death of “Friends” star, Matthew Perry. This connection has earned her the notorious nickname of the “Ketamine Queen.” Sangha is believed to be part of a criminal network responsible for supplying Perry with ketamine, ultimately leading to his fatal overdose in October 2023.
Prior to this high-profile case, Sangha operated largely under the radar despite her alleged involvement in illicit activities. Reports have surfaced linking her to the 2019 overdose death of Cody McLaury, a 33-year-old Alaskan man who had spent time in Los Angeles. McLaury’s death, caused by a deadly combination of ketamine, heroin, methamphetamine, and cocaine, had largely gone unnoticed until now.
The moniker of “Ketamine Queen” was reportedly bestowed upon Sangha by detectives and investigators working on the Matthew Perry case. It is believed that Sangha played a key role in a vast underground drug distribution network that specialized in ketamine.
According to law enforcement officials, on the day of Perry’s death, his live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa administered ketamine to him, as he had done on several occasions before, without the appropriate medical licensure to perform such injections. Sangha was arrested in March in connection with a separate federal drug case but was later released on a $100,000 bond. Her alleged involvement in the distribution network and the circumstances surrounding Perry’s death remain under investigation.
