Kamala Harris’ Step-Daughter Puts Knit Club on Hold Due to Security Concerns
Ella Emhoff, the step-daughter of Kamala Harris, recently announced that she will be pausing her knit club for the time being in order to protect herself and other club members. In an Instagram video, she hinted at security reasons, mentioning the ongoing US election in which her stepmother is a key figure.
“I just wanted to quickly come talk about Knit Club and address how it’s moving forward. Unfortunately, with everything going on right now, I’m not able to conduct them,” she shared with her followers. “To protect myself and other club members, the smartest thing is to hold off until things calm down,” she added, without explicitly naming her stepmother. However, she reassured her followers that this is just a temporary pause and she will be back with her knit club soon.
Emhoff, a 25-year-old fashion designer, has shown great enthusiasm for her stepmother and even attended the Democratic National Convention. Her followers expressed their support for her, with many anticipating her potential role as the First Daughter.
One user even joked about holding the next knit club on the White House lawn, while others praised Emhoff for handling the situation with grace and positivity. Despite the temporary setback, the outpouring of love and support from her followers was overwhelming.
Security Breach Incident Involving Ella Emhoff
In a separate incident in July, Ella Emhoff was involved in a security breach where a man damaged vehicles belonging to her protective detail. The man was arrested after causing damage to the cars while Emhoff was inside a restaurant. Following the incident, she was escorted safely out of the establishment. This incident occurred shortly after an attempted assassination on Donald Trump, which had put the Secret Service under scrutiny.
