The Viral Clip of Bill Maher Criticizing Kamala Harris

A recent clip of comedian and commentator Bill Maher has taken the internet by storm. In the video, Maher doesn’t hold back as he criticizes Vice President Kamala Harris, whose campaign has gained momentum against Donald Trump after President Joe Biden decided not to run for re-election.

Bill Maher, known for his outspoken opinions, didn’t spare Harris either. He compared her role as vice president to being “quieter than an electric car.” Maher pointed out that Harris had only won a small number of delegates in the 2020 primaries, jokingly saying it could be counted on one hand without any fingers.

“Kamala Harris, the vice president, will receive all of Biden’s campaign money and on the Democrats’ best issue — abortion — she is a walking reminder to women that the Republicans are against abortion rights. She is like Plan B, only protecting Plan B,” Maher remarked.

Highlighting Harris’s past as a prosecutor, Maher noted, “Harris was putting criminals in jail before liberals decided that was a bad thing.” He also emphasized that while Harris could potentially make history as the first woman, first black woman, and first Asian woman president, his vote would go to the candidate most likely to win.

Despite Maher’s criticism, a latest survey by Morning Consult found that Harris’s popularity is on the rise. The poll indicated that 50% of registered voters hold a favorable view of Harris, while 46% have an unfavorable view. This marks a significant increase from previous polling data, showing Harris’s approval rating is higher than both Biden and Trump at this stage.

It seems that Kamala Harris’s campaign is gaining traction, defying the earlier criticisms, and positioning her as a strong contender for the upcoming election.
